Children are in the church service for about 15 minutes before they go upstairs to the Upper Hall for Sunday Club. They start all together with 15 minutes of singing and memory verses, and then children go into their groups for about 30 minutes. There are four groups, each of which is made up of two school year groups, and in their groups children look together at a true story from the bible. These sessions normally include a fun mixture of storytelling, games, craft, drama and activities.
On the first Sunday of each month, instead of going into the church service, children go upstairs for a short Kids’ Church service and Sunday Club splits into classes. There are children’s songs with lots of actions, games, prayers and a short talk from the Bible.
