St Nicholas Church runs many areas of ministry, both amongst the church family and for the local community, on Sundays and throughout the week. These activities need committed members of the church family to give time to help run them.
We do not expect visitors to give money to St Nicholas. We fund our work almost entirely on donations from the church family to pay our staff, run our church buildings and help us to achieve our vision of knowing Jesus and making him known.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper at one of our services each Sunday. Please contact the church office if you would like more details.
We have our own bookstall online, hosted by the Good Book Company.
In our sermons this term (Spring 2021), we're looking at Hebrews, so we've added a few biographies (as many of the faithful men and women in the Old Testament are mentioned in Hebrews, and we can learn a lot from their faith) to the bookstall.
A series of short devotional readings from John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress, with a comment and prayers to encourage the church family on the way, not least through the ongoing slog.
Our annual meeting for the year ending December 2022 was held on Sunday 26th March 2023.
We would like to communicate with you about St Nicholas Church and its activities.
